Does My Scottsdale Dentist offer same-day emergency appointments?
Yes. We provide same-day emergency dental care during office hours Monday through Saturday. For after-hours emergencies, you can reach Dr. Poulos directly at (602) 881-2474. We treat broken teeth, severe pain, knocked-out teeth, lost restorations, and dental trauma.
What dental implant options are available?
We offer single tooth implants, All-on-4 Plus full-arch implants, implant-supported dentures, and same-day implant procedures. Dr. Mike Wassef is an ICOI Master Implant Dentist with 25+ years of experience. $0 down financing is available through CareCredit and Cherry.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, United Healthcare, and BlueCross BlueShield. For uninsured patients, our MSD Dental Plan membership costs $99/year with no deductibles, waiting periods, or annual maximums.
What is LANAP laser gum treatment?
LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) uses the PerioLase MVP-7 laser for FDA-cleared periodontal regeneration. It's less painful than traditional gum surgery with faster healing and no cutting or sutures. We also offer LAPIP for peri-implantitis — 95% of treated failing implants have reintegrated with new bone growth.
What sedation options do you offer for anxious patients?
We offer three levels of sedation: nitrous oxide (laughing gas) for mild anxiety, oral conscious sedation for moderate anxiety, and IV sedation for severe dental phobia or complex procedures. Dr. Poulos literally wrote the book on painless dentistry — your comfort is our specialty.
